Peer to Peer Networking Calls for YoungStar Participating Programs

Connect with fellow school-age program staff participating in YoungStar Connect to share ideas, solve challenges, and build a supportive community. These informal calls offer a space to exchange best practices, discuss current trends, troubleshoot common issues, and celebrate successes. Calls occur the second Wednesday of each month - come ready to engage, inspire and grow together!

YoungStar 101 for Track 3 Directors

In this 3-part live webinar series for Track 3 Directors, we will unpack the YoungStar School-Age criteria, evaluation, and coaching process as it relates specifically to the unique setting of school-age programming. We will share and discuss tools used as part of the YoungStar process including the Developmentally Appropriate Environment (DAE) checklist, the YoungStar School-Age Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and the creative ways you can use these tools to enhance the school-age program experience. School-Age Curricular Framework will be covered as best practice for school-age programs with real programmatic examples and resource sharing, taking into consideration the unique settings in which school-age programs often run. We will also address family engagement and share practical ways to level up your communication game.
